چکیده

This paper addresses the problem of decentralized event detection in a largescale wireless sensor network (WSN), where without the coordination of any fusion center, sensor nodes autonomously make decisions through information exchange with their neighbors. We formulate the event detection problem as a linear program, and propose a heuristic decentralized linear programming (DLP) approach to solve it. Compared to the existing algorithms which solve decentralized optimization problems, the DLP algorithm requires low communication cost per iteration and shows fast convergence. Convergence property of the DLP algorithm is theoretically analyzed, and then validated through simulation results. We also implement the DLP algorithm in the structural health monitoring application and demonstrate its effectiveness in decentralized event detection.

Modified FGP approach and MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems

In this paper, we present modified fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach and generalized MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems (ML-LFPPs) based on with some major modifications in earlier FGP algorithms. In proposed modified FGP approach, solution preferences by the decision makers at each level are not considered and fuzzy goal for the decision vectors i...

A New Approach for Solving Fully Fuzzy Bilevel Linear Programming Problems

This paper addresses a type of fully fuzzy bilevel linear programming (FFBLP) wherein all the coefficients and decision variables in both the objective function and constraints are triangular fuzzy numbers. This paper proposes a new simple-structured, efficient method for FFBLP problems based on crisp bilevel programming that yields fuzzy optimal solutions with unconstraint variables and parame...

Short-term Price-based Unit Commitment of Hydrothermal GenCos: A Pre-emptive Goal Programming Approach

The solution of single-objective unit commitment problems for generation companies participating in deregulated markets may not directly be implementable mainly because of neglecting some conflicting secondary objectives arising from policy-making at internal/external environment. Benefiting an efficient multi-objective approach to improve the applicability of price-based unit commitment soluti...
